The Oral History Program seeks to empower future generations to learn about Texas government and learn directly from those who were entrusted to govern it.
The Governing Texas Oral History Program is intended to secure a permanent historical record a comprehensive set of recollections and reflections that will illuminate the public lives, vocations, and institutions that support Texas governors.
The Governing Texas Oral History Program adheres strictly to the canons of professional inquiry and impartial scholarly analysis in all interview projects. To ensure the quality and objectivity of our oral history interviews, the Project follows the following principles, policies, and procedures.
